"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Well I've given up on either porting Apophysis to my mac or at least fixing my .PNG flames so that they appear correctly in DeviantArt. However, I just downloaded a new program which works with Mandelbrot and Julia set fractals, and I'm going to begin putting up new images. I'm definitely still in the learning curve for the progam though, so it should be fun to see if I can make them any better...
Hello all, I'm new to DeviantArt but have been using Apophysis for a while and a friend on here (Doublescoot... His stuff is much better than mine and you should check it out.) finally convinced me to post my images.
However, they're all saved as .PNG (except for those first three) and in full view the background is not getting converted to black. Is there any way I can fix this? There's another 40 or 50 images I'd like to post but they look much better with a black background. Thanks for your help, and for checking out my work!
Nice to see your stuff up here finally. Hopefully the OSX version of Apophysis gets finished soon.
